7,220 DAYS:A MUSEUM OF HENRY

Remembering Henry

Back in December 2012 I asked Henry’s brother Alex to put together some photos for the Memorial. Alex pulled an all-nighter and produced this beautiful capsule for us all to take when we start to forget. Three years later it’s still as potent. Do not watch if you are driving or operating any form of machinery.

Beautiful. I share your heartbreak and dramatic loss.
Rest in peace Henry, never met you, but thanks to Alex, I can feel what a beautiful person you have been.

Your son did a remarkable job of putting together this collage of who his brother was. I feel like I know him now. I am so sorry for your loss.

I thought about Henry a lot when I found out what happened. I always knew OF Henry on campus but I never knew him intimately. Our lives mirrored each other in ways and I find myself thinking about him from time to time over the years. I hope that his family is doing well and that they know his passing was not entirely in vain. Henry may have saved more lives than we all may be aware. His passing encouraged people on the brink to seek help before it was too late, myself included.
